What changes
- Industrial version of Lynx, designed for extreme environments.
- 33 kg, IP66 protection, -20 to 55 °C.
- 96-beam LiDAR with a 360° × 90° field of view.
- Targets: power line inspection, rescue, firefighting.
### Background On May 1, 2025, DEEP Robotics unveiled the Lynx M20, the industrial variant of its Lynx wheeled-legged quadruped. Where the first Lynx focused on agility and enthusiasts, the M20 targets harsh environments: mountain trails, wetlands, industrial sites and emergency response. ### Specifications - Weight 33 kg; mid-sized wheeled-legged robot. - 96-beam LiDAR with a 360° × 90° field of view. - Operates from -20 to 55 °C; IP66 dust and water protection. - AI motion control algorithms for autonomous posture adjustment. - Target applications: power line inspection, rescue, firefighting, logistics and scientific exploration. - Price available on request from the manufacturer. ### Why it matters The M20 takes wheeled-legged locomotion from spectacular demonstrator to industrial inspection tool. It later received a CES 2026 Innovation Award and an iF Design Award. ### Key takeaways The Lynx M20 positions DEEP Robotics in extreme-environment industrial inspection, ahead of the tougher M20S in May 2026.
