### Background On 9 July 2025, Hugging Face opened pre-orders for Reachy Mini, an expressive desktop robot built with the Pollen Robotics team acquired in April. The robot had been announced on 29 May 2025, alongside the HopeJR humanoid. It is not a full humanoid but a motorised head and body with animated antennas, designed for human-robot interaction, creative coding and AI model experiments.
